To define a new scale and design aesthetic that Pelican waters had never seen before, while also connecting to what will always being housing for an older more conservative market. Therefore Cove 1 needed to find that optimum balance of scale, built form and yield for a genuine community to connect and prosper.

The compact core configuration allowed for all apartments to have access to light, breezes and views throughout. We then also drew inspiration from the traditional residential ‘queenslander’ to encourage the developer to support the introduction of expansive deck/ verandahs throughout that add significant value to the occupants against rain, wind and light.

We are proud of the final ‘resort like’ quality that every resident will be able to access every day of their lives, while living at the Cove. That coupled with a strong balance of private and social gather spaces and places where they now can create a better life for themselves and the people living within the development.
