It’s no secret that the Sunshine Coast is growing rapidly and so are we! OGE are hiring for a Senior Architect with big picture thinking, who can lead the front-end design of big projects, and see these projects through to delivery.
OGE Group Architects has a very clear 10 year strategic plan and with the right person, will have a number of opportunities to grow with the business, and possibly have an opportunity to be a part owner.
Excellent design sketching skills to test, communicate and create Architectural concept designs
Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Industry, ideally working on multi-residential projects with the capacity to take on significant projects, managing teams to get the best outcome
A born leader, who is a self-starter and confident in managing a team
You talk straight, have excellent communication skills and are exceptionally organised
Maintain a design focus with the tenacity and rigour to see concepts throughout all project stages
Experience in Masterplanning, Resorts, Urban and Multi-residential projects of various scales in Australia with experience in China advantageous
A clear passion and empathy for Australian coastal environments
Have excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
Ideally design experience supported with Archicad 3D modelling skills, however not essential
At a Senior Architect level, we expect all of the above plus the ability to run and mentor an internal team, run projects from start to finish. Your primary role as Lead Designer for the concept design of project providing proactive support to the Director in front end design and project delivery.
