With a collaborative vision led by the client and a passion for terracotta and ceramic inspiration, textures, shapes, and colours, the design references the highly experienced operators of Rick Shores and their other venues. The overall goal was to create a unique offering and experience that avoided duplication from elsewhere.

The design process involved understanding available options to address future services and defining a functional solution. The approach embraced an expressive finish that speaks to a handmade aesthetic, allowing for an intimate service experience while recognising that not everything had to be overly refined.

The design ensures comfort in both casual and fine dining settings, striking a balance between being proud without being ostentatious. It seamlessly blends with the external surroundings while delivering a cohesive family of finishes, details, and a palette tailored to enhance the dining experience and evoke a specific atmosphere for the users.
